  so... i should have commented on the thread on dating a fader.. i am a fader, and my girlfriend is just... she doesn't care much for jw's... she wants to be with me, and while we are together we ignore all jw rules.

  last night, for example, we celebrated halloween.. there's a problem, though, and i need your help.. again, i will explain the cities:.

  That doesn't mean she is mentally out and won't want to run back to the bOrg with your babies when something triggers her. People don't always drop out for good reasons and the reasons you've given here won't mean shit in the future if she thinks Jehovah's going to kill her babies.

  so because of a new job that i got, i have to stay in my parents' city for 6 months.

  thereafter i can move.. so i am back at my parent's house.

  my dad is fully awakened now, it will just take time for him to accept the invalidity of the blood doctrine and the disfellowshipping doctrine, or anyone for that matter.. my mom was delighted when i said i wanted to join them in the family worship night.

  DID THE SOCIETY REPLACE THE OLD (32-PAGE) TRINITY BROCHURE WITH AN ANOREXIC VERSION ???

  so i was debating with a jw on youtube the other day, calling out all of the misqoutes and dishonesty in the 32-page "should you believe in the trinity" brochure as the reason this brochure was discontinued and this jw responds: "well we have a new bochure.

  it's thinner but it has all the new light.".

  has anyone ever heard of this replacement trinity brochure???

  Whoever wrote this garbage doesn't even understand what a contemporary is. Like having to redefine 'generation' as their understanding of the meaning of the word had to be stretched way past it's use by date, they are already having to stretch the meaning of 'contemporary' beyond it's breaking point and they have only just started using it. Does the Bethel library not contain a dictionary? or are the writers short of enough brain cells to use it?

  the jws stopped by my house a couple weeks ago on a saturday morning.

  i knew that with others most likely waiting for them out in the car they probably did not then have much time to engage in any serious conversation.

  so i let them talk while i feigned interest in what they had to say.

  Have you forgotten all that mind control stuff that was unloaded on you for decades while you sat in KHs and arsemblies? They were listening too. They have been taught not to hear you. They don't want to hear you. You have to stop trying to do their thinking for them.

  You have to give up on the idea of getting them to listen to you and get cunning. You have to get them to do the thinking, the research, the explaining, justifying their following failed doomsday loonies, etc.. You have to shut up except to make them want to do the talking and realise any dishonesty they indulge in.

  Why Eve sinned (WT 8/2013)

  adamah brought up in another thread an issue i wasn't aware of, and i thought it merged well with something i've been pondering about.

  it revolves around the deeper reasons why satan was successful in persuading eve to eat from the forbidden fruit.

  why was eve persuaded to disobey god?.

  Eve was a new human, only the second in existance. Why wouldn't she be naive? Why would she have ambition? Why had the god not realised that this species did not have any way of reproducing itself? Why hadn't they already had sex?

  Sometimes things don't make sense, simply because they don't make sense, not because we are stupid.
